8/12 Mon. Meeting with M and T:
Decide on the water.
Start considering 3D animatic, make sure it's possible to see the 2D anim. in this.
Make the colorboards (Alice )
Finish the 2D animatic this week.
Magnus decided to help Anders with the model this week, to finish it before Christmas.
I'm still working on the 2D Animatic tying down timing new and old ideas. It's taking a lot of time. Wish I'd made a more thorough folder structure from the beginning, concentrated on the 2nd pass of animatic.

TV paint lesson. We'll be using TV paint to block out the animation.
Late night group meeting: Anders felt that he was being left out of some desicions and hasn't been able to do anything creative the way he would like to, since he's in the bacement much of the time. I understand completely how he feels, and I would probably feel the same way if I was in his shoes. I think the problem is that Anders, until this week, has been left alone with a lot of decisions and that the rest of the group hasn't taken whatever small assignment upon them concerning building of the set. However, as we have had a lot of group meetings, he has been there whenever group decisions needed to be made

5/12 group meeting on the meeting with Kustaa. We've dicided to create blendshapes for our characters, which we know will work, and, if possible use Anisculpt to exaggerate the animation further.
Assigning people: Modelling, rigging, UV mapping, mattepainting.
We agreed on the color of the house.
Tod gave coments on the animatic, and some great advice as to the pacing.

1/12 Meeting with M and T. showing storyboard 2nd draft: Bear: "catch of a lifetime". Carefull with the colors; " it's an everyday situation".

Short meeting with Florian Kraft about cam moves: projecting images vs. Matchmoving. Turns out Match moving is deffinately the easiest way if we can get the equiptment.

2/12 I'm on timing to music - recearch today (K Lango was wrong! Perks Kung fu was the best )
Everybody in discussion of colors. We agreed on the colors on characters and the sets in general.

I've dicided on the beat so far. 12 beat 10beat and again 12beat in the end, and have put some music in the animatic. Discussed it with Tod and went on with applying audio and visual click-track.
4/12 Timing the cuts and storybeats to the music beats.
Meeting with Kristoff and Sunit about lights.
Magnus found out that there in near future will excist a script that makes it possible to use a feature in "Blender" called "Anisculpt" to resculpt a maya animation. From the looks of it, a very flexible feature.
Skype Meeting with Kustaa. He advises against relying too mutch on scripts like the one that enables us to use Anisculpt. Furthermore he's given some great imput on matchmoving.

Wed 26/11 Morning lecture with Robin and Florian: Gave me some ideas as how to make it appear as if the bear is a little fluffy, without making a detailed texture that might stretch too much during animation(It's all in the rim light).
Meeting with Michelle concerning the model workshop, tools, cams. and lights ( remember to talk to Bertil concerning list of lights).
I made a suggestion as to the viz. structure which we will discuss tomorrow.
Magnus and I made some character design.
27/11 Discussion concerning visual structure- We have the first draft.
Anders expresses his conserns as to being too much in the basement building set, while dicisions are being made about the storyboard. We agreed that we all pitch in in making 2.nd draft.
Anders thinks he'll be finished with the first model 3/12.

21/11 Short meeting with sunit. showing some tests. Turns out that we can make pans more easily than we thought. But cam. rotations are a little bit trickier than we thought: we will have to take pictures of many of the element in the sets in different passes.
24/11 Alice, magnus and I had story meeting. Anders came back from CPH with materials to built model and got started right away.
Magnus came up with the idea to film the sets for when we want cam. moves and match the movement up with some software he tried. He proposed that this might be quicker In general I'm a little critical towards the idea as I think it will just introduce more elements to the process and thus slow us down.
25/11 Group meets with Michelle and Tod.

17/11. Group meeting with Michelle, Tod and Sunit.

19/11. It's Finally decided we will be building live models.
20/11. tecnical reseach. Today we made a number of decisions as to the shots with and without cam. moves: In all shots where we have a real life (RL) set we have to built an according maya dummy, in order to get shadows from the characters falling correctly "on" images of our real life set.
In shots with small cam moves we will model small extrusions in i plane according to a still shot of the real set and project the image onto this plane.
In shots with larger cam. moves we agreed to make it all in Maya. and composite
Trees turned up to be a little tricky as they have a such detailed outline, and we are dicussing how to get around it.
Furthermore One of my friends, who is a skilled in camera and light, have offered his help with setting up light and guiding us in taking pics. of the model.

Anders is in CBH and is bying stuff for the models. He is having a meeting with Karin to get some help with the models.
